CuraGel Plus® is a truly high viscosity solution containing a new formula of 2.0 % or 2.4 % High Viscosity concentration medical grade hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

Its high viscosity and elastic behaviour gives it unique rheological properties to assure
maintaining of anatomical spaces of the anterior segment during ophthalmic procedures.

The viscosity of this product has been adjusted to provide the highest possible zero shear rate viscosity while allowing unrestricted manipulation during surgery.
It is supplied with a 23-gauge cannula, which demonstrates its high elastic properties.

The product is a sterile, pyrogen free solution, containing the following material composition by weight:
Medical Grade HPMC 2.00 % / 2.40 % (nominal)
Sodium Chloride 0.64 %
Calcium Chloride 0.048 %
Magnesium Chloride 0.035 %
Sodium Acetate 0.39 %
Sodium Citrate 0.17 %
 

Each batch of this product is tested for sterility and pyrogen content in addition to many other parameters to ensure the safety of the product.
